Equipment needed for Skeet.

A shotgun of any gauge capable of firing 2 rounds without reloading.  A Skeet choke is ideal, but IC or Cylinder will work.  We will loan you a 12 or 20 gauge gun if you do not have one.

#8 or #9 shells. A round of skeet consist of 25 birds, so we suggest several boxes.

Eye and ear protection.

A shell bag.  (we have loaners).

We encourage new shooters and will provide coaching.  Scheduled Skeet times are Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 PM.  Scheduled Trap times are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 PM.  All are welcome at the scheduled times.  If you are a new shooter, please allow a few minutes ahead of time for a safety briefing and orientation.

We will also open the field by pre-arrangement at other times.  I will be happy to meet new shooters by appointment if you prefer not to join the group for your 1st outing.  E-mail ccscshotgun@gmail.com to schedule.  There is a charge of $3.00 per round (25 birds) to cover the cost of the birds.
